Mason County Public Hospital District 1 owns and operates Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics in Shelton and is governed by a three member elected commission of the rest of Mason County.

North Mason Regional Fire Authority.

North Mason Regional Fire Authority serves the community with 24-hour emergency responders. These outstanding members of this organization are comprised of volunteer and professional firefighters, emergency medical technicians (EMT), paramedics, and Community Response Teams (CRT). Essentially, the men and women of NMRFA are your “neighbors”. We are here to serve this community in the protection of life and property, and to insure the well being and safety of its citizens.
